Your gift makes you a fellow worker in the Kingdom. Financially partnering with a ministry is a biblical principle that Paul teaches about in Philippians 4. As a partner you are working with the ministry, and you also share in the fruit, or harvest, of that ministry.
If you sow into the Kingdom of God, you share in the harvest and God will supply you with everything you need according to His riches in Christ Jesus.
